Fish meal made from different species of fishes commercially captured on Brazilian coast. Stabilized with Etoxiquin and/or BHA/BHT.

Feeding indication:

The product shall be used in formulation of animal feeding (poultry, pork, dogs, cats, fish and crustacean), accor ding to the recommendation of the responsible technician. Prohibited for ruminants.

Handling and storage:

Keep the product in the original bag, in dry and ventilated area, clear from the floor and walls. Store away from toxic or non-feed grade products.

Productive process description:

According to strict quality control standards, the raw material is received and follows immediately to be processed. Product is pressed, cooked, dried and grinded. Anti-oxidant is added. Product is packed and segregated. Upon quality control release (see section 08), product follows to warehousing. where storage is controlled considering clearance from floor, wall and between piles. Expedition follows FIFO (first-in first-out) rule, and final inspection of product, truck or container is conducted.

Quality control:

The quality control of the product comprises a set of rules called Good Manufacturing Practices, which makes use of manuals, procedures, forms, rules and reports, which are duly completed, signed, presented chronologically, and a record is kept about checks at all stages of processing, from the arrival of raw materials to the shipment of the finished product to demonstrate batch traceability, Quality programs are implemented based on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS-POP in Portuguese), and control of the implementation of such procedures on the product: POP 04-Quality control of the finished product: POP 09-Traceability and product recall (recall): POP 10 Prevention of Cross Contamination. All programs to maintain and control product quality. The finished product is sampled according sampling plan described in POP 04. Sample is analyzed for chemical composition, physical and microbiological characteristics. The sample is approved or rejected in this case product can be reprocessed or disposed off as solid waste. Storage: The product is stored in a proper warehouse clear from walls and floot accor ding to BPM manual. Expedition obeys FIFO rule (first in, first out). Transport to customers it is done in our own vehicles of contractors in trucks or containers properly inspected before product loading and protected during transport from rain, sun.
